Chef Wilo Benet, famous for being the first ‘restaurateur’ in Puerto Rico that combined exotic elements with the Puerto Rico crusine, opened Pikayo in the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico with capacity for 95 people and operated by 3S employees. After 5 years on a succesful operation, Mr.Benet wanted to update the restaurant. An open space, lighter furniture and red accents where selected for the space. The bar was refurnished with a new top and Bisazza mosaics. A new, darker floor was installed as a contrast element between the scheme. Selected art pieces gives the space the connection to the location of the restaurant, which is the Puerto Rico Museum.
