The museum will also house an education department, which will contain studios, classrooms, seminar rooms, a gallery, a lunch room and a multimedia computer laboratory.
Also overlooking the Great hall, are two 5000sq.ft. Exhibition galleries that are equipped for maximum flexibility. these can be prepared in size and design to accept special or international visiting exhibitions as well as multi-purpose activities.
The museum will house and restore works of Puerto Rico’s most significant artists as well as host many exhibitions currently traveling the world. The museum is expected to benefit the local economy by generating local employment and promoting tourism.
